Làm các bước như sau:

* Vào vboption/User Reputation Options/
Enable User Reputation system: Chọn yes.
Các cái ở dưới đều chọn 0 hết.
* Vào vboption/Post Thank You Hack/
Reputation: 1
Các cái khác thì tùy* thích thế nào cũng dc.
* Sửa template postbit hoặc postbit_legacy
Tìm rồi xóa hết:

ến đây là coi như xong phần cài đặt* giờ còn cấu hình nữa là đủ.

* Vào Add New Usergroup:
Tạo 1 nhóm mới* cho giống hệt nhóm member (hay có quyền lợi gì thì tùy. Đây là nhóm sau khi đã được thanked đủ).
* Vào Promotions:
Add new Promotions.
Usergroup: Registered Users
Reputation Comparison Type: Greater or equal
Reputation Level: số thanked để lên nhóm mới
Promotion Strategy: Reputation
Promotion Type: Primary Usergroup
Move User to Usergroup: Group bạn vừa tạo ở bước trên.

Những cái còn lại không cần quan tậm. Xong rồi thì save lại.
* Vào Forums & Moderators/Forum Permissions/
Edit quyền của nhóm Registered Users là không từ đầu đến cuối.
